Shazzad received the B.Sc. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from American International University Bangladesh in 2011. He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in computer engineering from Drexel University in 2016 and 2021, respectively. He is now a Staff Engineer at Qualcomm. Before his Ph.D., he worked at Ulkasemi Private Limited in ASIC verification, physical design, PCB design, and IC layout. He was a Research Intern at Nokia Bell Labs in 2019, designing energy-efficient AI hardware accelerators. His research interests include energy-efficient and ultra-low voltage circuits and systems, power management, and clock delivery.
